HDMI to AV in cable
« on: April 28, 2015, 01:37:15 pm »

hi, I am trying to connect my canon 5dmk3 to a Digital Labs field TV to use as a monitor. The monitor only has an AV in port ( single female hole with yellow ring around it ). Is there a cable and/or adaptor to hook these two up? I called Canon and they said it was possible but did not sell such accessories. Does anybody know?

HDMI is digital, while AV is analog; you will need a converter box, a simple cable will not do.
I googled "HDMI to AV converter", and such thing seems to exists, but I have never used one of them myself.
