Soft Lands
« on: April 27, 2015, 05:47:26 am »

This is not the scene that caused me to stop. Something on the other side of the road was why I was here and then I did what has now become a habit...I turned and looked behind me. This is what I saw.

I hope you like it.

It looks deserted. Where's the pubs and shopping malls? I take it they haven't allowed any planning permission? Very peaceful and serene.

Very fine!

But now you've made me curious about what you really stopped for.  ;)

Nice, William. The fog rolling in is what makes the picture.

This is it Eric...I have driven past it numerous times and felt there was something there. This is the best I could do, I'm afraid...

Thanks to everyone who looked and commented.

This one does convey a sense of vast emptiness, and the fog helps.
It is quite nice, too, but the Soft Lands is stronger, IMHO.

Good seeing.
