creative cloud app not working

Unfortunately (again!) the Adobe support wasn't able to help me.

I subscribed for the CC photography package, but the creative cloud app doesn't work on my macbook on OSX 10.10.3

I removed everything Adobe from my machine, cleaned the folders according to support, used the cleaner tool and installed it, but it starts for half a second and then vanishes without a trace.

I tried to install it on a ne admin account, didn't work

I signed in as 'root', now i got the applications to install and work, but back to my regular account the CC app still doesn' work, which prohibits me from using the cloud.

any ideas?

From what you said, I guess you've gone through the stuff at https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud.html which includes installation help.

The "Contact us" at the bottom or that page eventually leads through to their chat support.  I've used Adobe chat several times for installation or account problems, and they've usually sorted it out for me.

Sign completely out of the desktop CC app on the preferences, account page and sign back in.  Don't just close the CC app and restart - that doesn't sign you off the Cloud.  Apparently there is a glitch in Adobe's licensing server for some users and they need to trigger the license validation with a fresh sign-in.

I had problems installing and contacted chat support. It took about 1/2 hour or so to finally get things taken care of (also about 20 min of waiting). Basically uninstalled everything--even things I didn't know about. Than reinstalled everything.

I can't sign out of CC as the CC App won't start! Only as a root user will it work. I tried to sign out and in as root, then back to my regular account the problem persisted.

I tried Adobe Help, both chat and telephone, but other than the thing I wrote above they couldn't help.

It is quite frustrating, I already spent around 10 hours on this problem...
