There are millions of wonderful vista in Nova Scotia. I have two recommendations, based on my experience:

1. Advocate Harbour: a small fishing village at the end of the road right in the middle of the Bay of Fundy. The tides are some of the highest in the world, the landscape is beautiful, the vistas sweeping. Take Highway 2 west from the 104 all along the coast and then 209 west from Parrsboro. My family has lived there since 1778.

2. The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, the home of the Acadians.

If you're driving to Nova Scotia you'll be passing through New Brunswick (the Picture Province) so don't miss Fundy National Park and the Hopewell Rocks. Of course you'll be driving along the St. John River Valley for a good part of your trip which is full of great photo ops. The sandy beaches of the northeast shore are very different from the rocky Fundy shore. And when you do finally get to N.S. you are required as a tourist to visit Peggy's Cove. Have a great trip.
