LR5 not moving images between volumes - SOLVED
« on: April 10, 2015, 11:01:03 pm »

This morning it still worked, this evening I can't move images between volumes anymore from within lightroom. A dialog box informs me that the images cannot be copied/moved to the selected destination.

It works from the finder without problems, indicating that the permissions are OK. What else could be wrong?

Without more information I'm taking a bit of tab in the dark here, but occasionally Adobe software seems to lose touch with attached drives (Mac OSX).  This can occur after the Mac (of whatever variety) goes to sleep, or even spontaneously.

A restart usually fixes it.

Or maybe switching to Windows.   ;D

Thanks everybody for the contributions.

In the end, it was the privileges for the group "Everybody". I had moved from the default "Read only" to "No Access". I changed it back to the default and the problem was solved. :)

That would certainly allow you to forget trivia such as this  ;)
