Spring melt
« on: April 09, 2015, 01:44:16 pm »

Spring here is mostly miles of mud and brown stubble, but occasionally something more interesting turns up.

Thanks for looking, suggestions welcome.

I love the first. I wonder if the third might look good in monochrome.

#1 is a true classic, very film-like.

#2 I wonder what it would like if a bit more abstract, that is, what if the brown stalks were more fuzzy/abstract? Perhaps with a longer shutter speed, or moving the camera during exposure.

#3 is a very nice swirl, well done. Looks even like a galaxy.

For me, the first image kills the others. It's magical, it has an out-of-this world feel.

Thanks,  folks. 1 is a flooded field. Lots of geese, ducks and swans just now.
Galactic, yes, Paulo. Cool that gravity produces the same effect at different scales.
