Storing Ink

I have about 20 350ml/700ml carts for my Epson 9890. Currently they are in their boxes on their sides. Is there a better orientation to keep them stored? Should I be flipping them every once in a while?

I would not worry about how they are lying. when you go to use them give them a good shake and load them. Period.
Good luck.
