Nice shots.
To me the second and third have real presence.

The first two images are very appealing. The light in the first one is especially delicious.

I like the light in the first, which I find by far the most interesting of the three.

I too prefer #1, due to light and depth in composition.

I prefer #3 because of the balance of the composition.  Despite the nice light in #1 it feels incomplete to me and the top left pulls me out of the frame.
Thanks for posting these.  I have yet to make a good badlands shot despite many attempts.  I find framing to be a real challenge.

All three are interesting, the light in #1 and contrast of squared-off red rocks with rounded greyish rocks is appealing.

I'm pretty sure you should go back and do some hieroglyphs.  Thousands of years from now, someone will understand.

Oh, and clearly #3 is now my favorite.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm partial to 1 as well. I have been visiting here (Theodore Roosevelt NP, ND) for several years. This trip was the most productive in terms of images, partly thanks to previous help from this forum.
