Spring in the Swamp
« on: April 05, 2015, 11:55:48 am »

Sigma DP2 Quattro
f9
1/30 s
ISO 100
A native iris of the Louisiana wetlands growing along the banks of Blind River.
(Getting in and out of the kayak, without getting all mucked, was almost more then I could do.)
Comments most welcome.

I like it a lot.
It feels so much more natural and graceful than so many setup flower shots.

Soft and subdued, nicely done.

Yeah, the quattro rendered that well.  It's a beautiful iris.

Thank you all.
It's encouraging to know that an unconventional and restrained view of an iconic flower, taken with 'the dumbest camera of the year' can turn out well.
