I just returned from exploring the back country for the last six days.  We knew weather was coming and planned accordingly.  Maybe I should of gone to Florida for my week off instead.  This makes the situation a bit better.  These attachments show the snow accumulation that Yosemite got at about 8000 ft. As far as native plants go, I like the native lupines that are in my backyard.  Yes, we are watering our non natives with dish and shower water.
