Ricoh/Pentax enters multishot....
« on: April 01, 2015, 02:46:28 pm »

That will be great... It can be another boost for 645Z sales, but if applied on a mirrorless FF sensor in combination with a Cambo Actus combined with LV, it can bet an economical "dream system" with movements for professional use... It's about time.

Theodoros, thank you.

Very interesting indeed. A compact copying solution?

Lets just hope that they will think of offering a FF mirrorless with the technology.... They seem to be moving into FF DSLRs soon. What is for sure, is that if one Japanese maker does something, there is soon an answer by all the others...  ;) Fingers crossed, a "true color" mirrorless should soon be a reality.

There is no "guesstimate" buddy...   ??? you may want to re-read! Pentax is entering multishot (the way we know to it from MFDBs equiped with it) and they plan to offer it on cameras with different formats and architecture in their line... Also, that Japanese makers all react to each other ending up with similar offering is no news...  :P
