Epson 9900 lenght issue
« on: March 18, 2015, 10:09:32 am »

Hi guys,

I have a Epson Stylus Pro 9900 (not the proofing edition) and I have issue on every print.

I use the Epson Premium Luster 260  (44in and 24in roll)

If I print a 24x36 (with the 24in roll) the final output is 24x35 7/8
  If I print a 24x40 (with the 44in roll) the final output is 24 1/4 x 40

DO you have any solution ?  ???

Do you experience the same issue when printing on sheet sizes?

A couple of things come to mind.  First--when you create a custom paper size for roll paper printing, what number do you insert in the "Non-Printable Area" section(Top, Left, Right, Bottom)?  I'm on a Mac Pro and when I upgraded to OS X 10.9 I found that I had to use .01 in each of those fields in order for the custom paper sizes to print properly.  I don't recall the actual issue that prompted that change, but it did take a bit of trial and error to get it right.  Perhaps it might work in your case as well, no harm trying.  Until 10.9 I always left those fields blank.  Next question--do you make sure you have set the scale to 100% in the print dialog.  I including a screenshot of the Mac version of that dialog, so if you're on PC it will look a bit different, but that setting would still be available.  See below...
