image grid
« on: January 19, 2006, 12:22:49 pm »

I borrowed a Canon 1ds from the pro service while mine was being fixed. I found that the images I shot with this camera have what looks like a fine grid on them. It is more pronounced in the shadow  areas but it is throughout the image. It doesn't affect sharpness thou it is more pronounced when the image is sharpened. It looks like the image was created on a fine mesh screen. It is on the Raws as well as the processed images.

Has anyone else seen this and do do have any suggestions on how to get rid of it without ruining the images.
