This may be of interest to people in the Toronto area.
I had to have my Canon 24-105 lens serviced (Error 01) recently. I needed to have it repaired rather quickly and Canon Canada was telling me that it would take perhaps 15 days, so I looked elsewhere and found Sun Camera Repairs (an authorized repair shop). They repaired my lens with in two days since i truly need it fixed asap. They even gave me a short tour of their premises when I picked up my lens today -- very professional. They have been in business for some 40 years, although I never knew of them until now. They also handle Nikon and other makes, and are apparently one of the few if not the only place that handle Pentax stuff. Their web address is:
