I like it. Given the almost uniform high key, though, I find the one area of darkness at the left to be distracting and I'd either clone or crop it out.

Nice, reminds me of the intro to "The Empire Strikes Back":)

Perfect winter shot… I feel the cold wind. The pylons give a good sense of scale, initially I thought that those hills were close and quite small.

Kikashi: Thank you for the feedback. I'll experiment with your suggestion.

Paulo: Thankfully, no blaster fire!

Francois: I also thought the pylons added something. I'd initially considered cloning them out, but it's hard to understand the landscape without them for perspective. Even in person, distances and size were difficult to discern at times. I'm glad you liked the image.

Agreed! They give a sense of scale and reference. Great tones in this one!

I love the hardangervidda, thanks for sharing - reminds me of what a wide and remote place it can be

Thank you, Rajan and Bob, for the kind words and the thoughts on the pylons. Thinking about how scale can be understood, and when it might be deliberately obscured, is something I'm only beginning to get a feel for.

Borgefjell, although I spend a lot of time in Norway, it was my first trip to Bergen. I'll return in the summer and look forward to seeing the landscape on foot.

Hiking there is stunning, if you are able to do a multi day hike consider to surround the glacier hardangerjokulen, quite demanding in winter but beautiful with well equipped huts during summer/autumn - and your camera won't be disappointed as well ;-)

Your advice won't go amiss. Thank you for the recommendation. I'm looking forward to exploring the area already!
