I believe when we complete the advance search and index feature many people will have their wishes.  It's not an easy build and we are trying to do some creative things with regards to searches and the display of the results.  It should also have user preferences such as how many results to deliver per page.  We will start to work on that as soon as we are finished the video section.

Why can't the new site remember my name and password? PITA.

Instead of logging on in the upper right corner with your name click login without entering any info.  You should then be presented a login dialog box.  Fill your logon info in here and click always stay logged in.  That should fix your log in.
