Very Nice Indeed.

A total of (at least) 11 shots, but what's the time between each, and what's the speed used, please?

How do you make the assembly, layers?!

Have Nice Day.

Very nice, Chris.

How much time did you have to spend training your eleven pet GBs to fly in formation so nicely?

I have a bird feeder in my back yard, but I've never had a single heron come to feed at it.

Here's the strangest "bird" that has come to my feeder recently.

The pole is the feeder pole. Juncos, Mourning Doves, and many other birds settle for the seeds that drop to the ground. But they all left when this guy came around for about an hour.

Yes, it's an Opossum. The first I've seen in Massachusetts.

Followed by a CD for $5.99 on how to fly, specifically catered to long winged birds.

Simple but rather time consuming. I chose the image with the most sky and least bird, cut out the bird and cloned in the remaining white area and duplicated it 12 times, then cloned a decent blend so overall it looked fairly realistic. Next, using the quick select tool and the refine edge tool I selected each of the movements and loosely placed them on the new sky until I was satisfied with the placement in regards to how he looked as I shot the sequence. When placing each bird in the sequence, I defringed each by 2 pixels to omit any hard edges. I started way big at 112 inches wide by 12 inches high then dropped it to 240 dpi and 66 inches. The total flyover lasted no more than 6 seconds. There was a total of 17 shots made but several were duplicate wing positions so I didn't use them.

Non-flattened possum! I see 20 road kill to one live possum.
Neat heron series!
