Don't worry- I forgot to budget for everything. 
I will need paper, large frames, paper, storage drawers, paper, ink, paper, varnish, paper, ...............

You don't really need them until you do. You’ll have a great time. The many stories I can tell.

On the topic of the spectrophotometer, you can quickly get ~ ideal results using one of these where not having one can cost a lot of paper and frustration and still get less than ideal results…..

As a hint, be sure to take your SO on a 3 day weekend early on and do some family and pet photos to help “learn” the new printer. These kind of frequent gestures goes a long way to soothing tensions during the transition. The printer may become a mistress or even dominatrix of sorts. Some here have been rumored to use the m word as part of the name they give their favorite printer. . . . :)
