Smoky Mountains National Park and surrounding area in spring

I am looking for advice on timing and locations for a trip this spring to photograph the dogwood and red bud in the Smoky Mountains NP and surrounding area. Curretly I am booked from April 10 to May 2nd.

I live in Asheville.  NOW is the time if you want to isolate the Dogwoods and Redbud trees.
