Hickory Horned Devil Caterpillar

These get quite large. This is an early instar though...One of many odd caterpillar I have found here in Georgia... While it looks dangerous, this one isn't venomous like the "Slug" caterpillars are...

Seriously ugly dude - I suppose that it is mimicking a "poisonous" caterpillar - the spines say to me - don't you dare eat me!
