Silo city (Kevin Raber)
« on: February 25, 2015, 05:30:13 am »

Fantastic images.  I liked them all- colour, black and white and with models.  Most of the time we probably think of landscape as natural areas, but urban exploration offers some great possibilities.  After all, geography includes human geography, and the built landscape (eg architecture) and farming have long photographic pedigrees.  More please!

It is a great experience, one I highly recommend. There are nuggets of surprises around every turn, and rooms that unfold into other rooms that make you feel like you just landed in a strange place that had been suddenly evacuated 50 years ago by some apocalypse. Here are a few from my stash...

Starting a new thread Dave would be helpful with respect to your images? :)

Well done Kevin.  Reminiscent of Lee Friedlander's Factory Valley work.
