People of the Twenty-First Century

"Eijkelboom, whose photo books have long been cult objects, works like a street fashion photographer, minus the coy poses and romanticized urban backgrounds."

I don't think I will be spending my money on that photo book. To state the obvious it is too repetitious. i like variety whilst looking at images. ::)

His work is not for me at all.

I was only in Amsterdam for a few days so I could only produce so much. But this is my style of photography and my style of 'cult' book....

Making real books isn't very hard, iluvmycam, you should look in to it.

Also, it would be kind of cool if you could make a post now and then that wasn't just a quick dismissal of the topic at hand followed by a plug for your own work.

I have to say that, while not liking the photos at all, I like very much the idea behind it (which, I as read it, is a critique of the uniqueness myth that is sold to all of us).

You only saw what was obvious?

And what should I have seen? Isaac it would be helpful if you posted an opinion of your own when posting a link. As it is you like to post links and when someone offers an opinion you try to shoot them down. Now what is your opinion and what did you see? ::)

Hey, don't be too hard on the chap. If I stood to make $1,800 from each book I sold, I'd be keen to plug them. If, of course, that is his work: it's not clear.

You seem not to have read the article.

And what is your opinion?

My opinion is that there's nothing interesting about wilfully uninformed remarks.
