Not sure if any of this is helping or not...

Now I got kicked off MBP safari. So for me it is pervasive regardless of hardware. One other note, if I use safari's "autofill" username and password, it errors with an incorrect password. If I then manually type in exactly the same thing, it logs me in.

FWIW: I finally got logged in, only to discover that when I tried to double click on an embedded photo in a post, a new window asking to re-login appeared, and that login FAILED. Also, at least one post that I previously had no troubles viewing an enlarged version of an embedded photo failed to show the photo, with an error appearing that the photo file did not exist.

Forum cookies are not working correctly (FireFox and IE, same behavior). Here's what I'm seeing:

Delete all Luminous-Landscape cookies
Login, specify "always stay logged in" (works OK)
Navigate to a sub-forum (works OK)
Select a thread to read (works OK)
Go back to the sub-form -> forum is logged out

Attempts at logging back in at this point do not work unless you again delete all LuLa cookies and start over.

The same login/out problem exists as it did last night. The developers are still working on it.

It seems that the forum software (SMF) and the new WordPress environment do not play as happily together as they might.

Luckily, this only affects some users and not others....

The developers are working....

If any reader has experience with SMF forum software within WordPress and has some suggestion or theory, please drop me an email.

More data: I've narrowed down the problem for me to the "Go" button at the bottom of a thread. It seems that all other navigation works OK without logging me out.

Clicking on one of the breadcrumbs to go back to the sub-forum top or a parent sub-forum works OK
Clicking on the "Jump to..." drop down list at the bottom of a thread works OK
Clicking on the "Go" button at the bottom of a thread DOES NOT WORK AND CAUSES A LOGOUT

This is probably why some people are working OK...they probably do not use the "Go" button for navigation. For now, you can stay logged on if you don't use the GO button.

EDIT: Well, it looks like posting a message also causes a LOGOUT.

I was logged out immediately after posting the above.

Seems no matter what i did, couldn't log in via firefox. Quite and started Safari and that logged me in no fuss no muss. But it's so soon after your 'reboot'. Nice work guys.

At least I can now login on IE and stay logged in, which is much improved over yesterday.
However, Images uploaded in posts are still invisible, both form old forum posts and from new ones.

Getting there!

The main site is great. Who knew the forum was going to go on strike?

FWIW things appear to be back to normal now.
No log-in issues.
Posted images are visible and enlargeable.
Loading appears to be snappy.

Looking forward to now to all the goodies to come!

OK....seems to be working just fine now. Sorry for the issues earlier. Overall it was a smooth transition but we did have some challenges and they now seem to be worked out. The Swellfire team came through.

I am getting 404's on the images in user critiques. Not elsewhere however. Maybe they were Posted during the issues. Alligators and The kiss specifically.

I just tested User Critiques on 2 browsers Chrome and Safari and I see images and get no errors. Also, works fine on the iPad.

May I suggest you clear out any cache and quit your growers and start it again.

If that doesn't work please post more specific info about growers, OS etc. so out web guys can look at it.
