Postcard printing in UK recommendations?

I need to get some postcards & greetings cards printed. Can anyone recommend a UK print firm who are any good with colour management? ie who can supply me with a profile for their printing press so that I can actually soft proof & optimise the images I send them.

I've worked with a few print shops in the past who have been nice enough to deal with but who are in the dark ages when it comes to colour management.

Any advice appreciated.

Abacus used to be very good - the original firm closed down in 2011 but was then taken over by one of their previous employees, who I believe has maintained their previous high standards. http://www.abacusprinters.co.uk/

You could also try my local litho printers, Barrington Print. http://www.barringtonprint.com/index.php

I've used both of these personally for cards and postcards for my clients, with excellent results. Based on the quality of their output, they're both on the ball with colour management, but you'll need to check specifically whether they can supply press profiles for proofing.
