Make sure that the original manufacturer's edge will be measured on the printer when that cut roll is inserted. So the freshly cut side should be at the left on the printer. Way less loading issues. That can not be done when a roll is split in half and you want to use both (half) rolls. One can be rewound on another core to overcome that problem. My DeWalt radial saw just isn't so perfect for a clean cut so I learned it the hard way.
