Another job shot on 5dIII with Magic Lantern Raw
« on: February 06, 2015, 12:06:41 pm »

Hi everyone,

I did another video for a fashion lifestyle brand with Magic Lantern raw video, everything worked really well again. If you still have a 5d3 around, this is really a good option I think.
(having said that, i got a FS7 on order...)

It's sort of road trip, shot in Mexico.

Really love your work including the previous one. I am into ML now and really like it as my 5dIII having a new life now! Could you share with me what resolution and fps you used on this shoot, 1920x818 at 30 fps or 1920x508 at 48 fps? What is the fps for the final output? I also like the shoulder rig you used and what is the brand?

Thanks a lot!

Hi John, thanks for your kind words, I am glad you liked it!

It was all shot 1920x1080 @23,98p and delivered just like that. No over cranking, no odd resolutions.
The rig is a mix of parts from redrock micro (handles), vocas (shoulder pad), zacuto... But at the heart of it is the Rederock Micro & Really Right Stuff Baseplate, which combined with a RRS L-plate is the most solid thing you can have for shooting with a dslr imho.

cheers,
martin
