Piercing the Ether
« on: February 04, 2015, 08:56:25 pm »

At the beginning of a beautiful day on the central Oregon coast last weekend, the first rays of morning light pierced the low fog and touched the water as the sun rose over an off-camera hill.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. This was an image that I found appealing, but I wasn't sure if others would see it that way.

The white triangles are the tops of a couple of houses that are being lit up by the sun beginning to hit them. I thought they added something to the composition, so I left them in. But it's a judgment call that could go the other way, I realize.

In a small print I would say it's not going to be clear what they are... a large print I would say they add :)  Otherwise looks great to me.
