Best Internet Printers - exhibition quality
« on: January 17, 2015, 03:22:37 am »

I'm getting ready for my third exhibition.

My galery demanded larger prints - a size I cannot print on my printer.

What are the best internet printers out there? One of the pieces has also an unusual format: about 40 inches by 13 inches.

I would like to get a vibrant print - nothing matte. My favorite papers I printed on were Hahnemuhle baryta papers.

Any recommendations?

Hi, my name is Joey Sigler and I am the owner of Signature Image in Fort Worth, Texas.

We print on a number of Hahnemuhle papers and canvases such a Fine Art Baryta, Photo Rag Satin, Photo Luster and Leonardo canvas. Just in case you ever need a matte paper we also stock William Turner 310gsm, German Etching 310, Photo Rag 308, Bamboo, Albrect Durer (up to 13x19), Torchon (up to 13x19). We do stock other options from Innova, Kodak, IJ Technologies and Red River.

I am sure we can provide you with the quality of prints that you need for your exhibition. Please check out my site, if you like what you see I would be happy to provide you an estimate and send you a sample pack of our papers. There are plenty of testimonials on our site so that you do not have to just take my word for it.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Contact Mac Holbert (the guy who started Nash Editions). Can't think of anyone who's done this kind of work longer or has done more for the industry:

FWIW, he's printed all the shows for Epson for years and years.

Thanks, digitaldog. I'll definitely check him out.

Digitaldog's recommendation is in Oregon, that's quite far away. He mentions Manhattan Beach as his home, but he seems to work in Oregon.

Generally, that's not a problem as you can easily ship a print rolled.

But I also have the address of a printer in downtown LA.

I'll do some research first before I decide.
