Bellows Falls, VT
« on: January 15, 2015, 12:47:59 pm »

Hello,

This is my first post, I've been a Luminous Landscape reader for years but I just recently discovered the forum.  The image below is from a foggy day back in November 2013, Vermont is on the left side and New Hampshire on the right.

Cheers!
-Chris

Nice tonalities, moody, well composed. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome, and good job.

I find the composition a bit tight on the left hand side, I would like to see a bit more room in the area where the tracks curve.

I like the general mood, it's harmonious.

Welcome on the forums, Chris.

Thanks all for the warm welcome!

Paulo, I do agree, my original version had a little more room there.  I chose to crop it because a distracting and bright building was on the left edge.

Gorgeous work. I like how you felt confident enough to not tell the whole story. At least it seems that way given the cut off train leaving the photograph at the bottom.

This looks like something hanging on a wall telling of the history in that place, and well representative.
