Any suggestions?

EduPerez:
Let me guess... you when to far with a variable ND filter?

SanderKikkert:
I seriously wouldn't know how to save this in post.  Yet if a variable ND was the culprit before that stage you might be interested to know that B+W have recently introduced a new line of top of the bill variable ND filters which should even if used at max stopping power have no impact in IQ, they are max. 5 stops however. Read this in the january issue of the german "Naturfoto" magazine, they tested them and were very positive about these.

Will cost you a bit though: https://www.schneideroptics.com/Ecommerce/CatalogSubCategoryDisplay.aspx?CID=1882

Get a nice glass of whisky (or the drink of your choice), and with great sadness move this image to the trash can. :(

graeme:
Print it out large, frame it & put it on your wall, it's a very striking image.
