So I finally got good flowing heads and I made a few prints, although I still get the few banding lines on the front edge of the print as it comes out likely from the curl, but putting anything in front I don't think help as its the first inch or so...so damage is done out the hole.
Anyway, so last night I'm about to send another print before calling it a night, and I send it through Qimage, and it makes a jingle sound, and nothing comes up! I always use Preview in the HP properties. Nope.
The job is in the que, but not getting sent to print.I tried direct from LR, and no dice.
So I tried a few combinations and played with the Win7x64, rebooted even, with no luck. Looked at the printer and its ready to print.
Then installed the PCL3 driver along the first install, and this time I got the preview screen to pop up!!..but there was a blank page in the image!
I went to LR to see how it looked there, and in the that left top screen, it was also blank!
Now I'm thinking its my file, so I changed the selection, but no file is making a difference!
I did unplug/power the printer and restart with no difference...I did that mainly for the 48:00 error code, again. Which says to call service, and not a warning or error to self clear. I looked at the histroy of errors, and even from start of this printer there is never a 48 error until after I did the belt, bushing and particularly the fan changes. (not sure if any of that had anything to do with 48:00)
As I searched the web I found this....
http://www.fixya.com/support/t25302235-error_48_00_hp_designjet_z3100_44inchWhich is pretty much what I'm getting except, not every time I start. So far 3 times the 48 error. after I did a few prints. When I reboot it is clear. My tech got into that service station and wiped it pretty good without taking anything apart, just reaching in.
But thats a mechanical issue...I don't think has anything to do with the job not getting to the printer. SInce now, the printer is reaady, but can't get a job sent!
I know the next step might be to uninstall all the drivers and reinstall them, but I'm tring to avoid this, and posting here for alternate checks if that is needed.
How's your Sunday going?!
