Setting up new Epson 9890.

Hi!

Probably not going to install the ink until morning. I have the 110ml starter ink that came with the printer. But I also have 7 of the 9 colors in 350ml cartridges (missing Magenta and LT black for now).

Some are older carts. 2013/14.

Any benefit of starting with the 350mls first, and hold the 110mls as back-ups? those expire 6/2016

You will end up using most of the 110 ml to charge the system. I printed about 20 17x25 before they started to run out. And that was in the first two weeks. I bet you will Use it up real quickly. I wouldn't bother with saving them for later. I even bought an extra set of cartridges(110 ml) from Adorama for 800 in December. Now I'm going with 700 ml replacements as needed when the 110's run out cause the light black on my second replacement is almost out.
