Epson 7890 starter inks

I just setup a brand new 7890 and after doing the initial ink install and charge, the light black cart is showing half as much volume as the others. Is this normal or a sign of something bad to come? One thing that happened in the setup was at the end of the ink install, it said "automatic head cleaning failed". Maybe it was the LK and it did an extra cleaning from that head? Seems a lot of ink for one cleaning.

That's normal.  It's paired with the main black channel, so priming using it to prime both photo and matte black, therefore using it more on startup.
