Dear colleagues, hello. I am writing to you to know what is your personal opinion toward JPEG XT (HDR) and JPEG Pleno (light field)?
My questions goes to professional photographers that are shooting heavily and consider other storage solutions beside traditional Jpeg, TIFF or other file format to save your precious data/pics.
Jpeg2000 was indeed a great candidate for that, but probably to some of its IPR issues that were not fully solved, has not gained much success in the photo sector (more success however can be traced at Hollywood ...).
So, I am wondering if anyone is aware or has options about JPEG XT (HDR) and JPEG Pleno (light field) and if they might have any sort of "wish list" of features maybe not yet available on current jpeg and new file format solutions available today.
