I took a nature hike along the Gunpowder River in upper Maryland (US) a few days ago. It was cloudy, past 3pm, and soon to rain: just about the softest light you can find. No birds or other wildlife, but lots to observe and photograph. Here are two photos from that trek. I hope you enjoy them. C&C welcomed.

I like #2 - as a good nature shot but also as an almost abstract image. The light works well imo.

I also like #2. To me, in #1 the mushrooms are too small in the frame.
