I remember when I installed CC 2014  and earlier versions of Photoshop up popped this message asking what I wanted the keyboard shortcut COMMAND H to do. I chose to allow COMMAND H to hide the application. However, I'm following a tutorial and would like to change this to allow COMMAND H to hide a selection.

I read online that this is only possible upon first installing Photoshop, however, the article is 5 years old.

Therefore I wonder is there a way of changing what COMMAND H does. I can't find anything in PHOTOSHOP PREFERENCES and would rather not have to re-install the software.

Many thanks in advance.

I have worked this out.

I hit EDIT>KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS>VIEW>SELECTION EDGES>TYPE INTO THE BOX CMD H (by physically hitting the CMD button and the H). Click Accept.

Go to Photoshop create a selection and double check it.
