Christmas Impressions
« on: December 24, 2005, 05:46:51 am »

Well, it's just about Christmas, especially in those parts of the world where we celebrate it on Christmas eve. I took the opportunity yesterday to have a walkabout in  Hamar, my parents' home town.

Feedback is appreciated, but I really just wanted to share a few moods at the top of the year.

Best wishes to all of you, thanks for a really good year so far!

(Perhaps others can post their end-of-year impressions here, too ...)

Bob, nice curves. It reminds my that you should take my snowshoes and go shooting instead of finishing my work.

I wish you all the best!
Take care everyone.

Thank you, Jan!

The thumbnail of "Flame of Hope" looked to my eyes at first like a white dove of peace, which I think is a fitting mis-reading.
Thanks, I didn't see it that way myself until you mentioned it, it's a nice bonus effect!

I took several pictures with the same composition, but it was this version that had a shape that I liked.

Just got back from Tuscany today.   A slightly belated Merry Christmas to everyone here!

This image speaks to what I find most meaningful during the holidays:

May all your family gatherings be as joyful.
