Copal shutter aperature raster
« on: December 19, 2014, 03:40:33 pm »

Hi guys,

is there anybody who have some knowledge about copal shutters?

I have copal shutter there is somthing like a raster for the aperature slider at the copal shutter. Other shutters have not this raster. Could you turn the "rasterization" ON or OFF at a copal shutter?

Thank you.

AFAIK the Copal shutters are modified by Schneider Kreuznach to add the "clicking into place" for their lenses, Rodenstock does not modify them. I also have some older Schneider lenses that don't have that feature, but the new ones (Digitars) all have it.

best,
