The flat light helps, I think. If this looks a little blue, I think it is the jpeg conversion; it isn't that blue in LR. Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes with Grapevine Mountains behind to the northeast.

Very engaging. Is that little vertical line near the right edge a distant road?

Thanks, Scott. Yes, that's the road to Beatty Nevada, it's called Daylight Pass Road on the California side.
