Death Valley Mists
« on: December 14, 2014, 06:51:02 pm »

Out of Stovepipe Wells, extraordinary weather, extraordinary terrain, but then some would say it's just ARAT ;)
Great place to shoot with PhotoZoneTours.com with Mark Alberhasky and Layne Kennedy as guides.

Lovely, and what luck to get those kind of conditions in Death Valley.  I recognize that section.

Well done, those mists really lift the picture.

Great shot with mist, seeming almost mono from the thumb (and the stark contrast on my bad monitor) there are hints of colour all over the image when you look at teh bigger version, very nice.

That is beautiful, and I like the composition! My eyes were drawn to the symmetry between the dark cloud over the mountain (inverted triangle) and the nearer mountain peak. When was the photograph taken?

Really unusual shot: you don't often see DV looking like that.

And there's no T ;)
