« on: December 09, 2014, 02:21:29 am »

I have done some search on this forum and google but seems the info isnt what I am looking for, most of the stuffs on google are for tourist.  I am looking for location to shoot the crazy junctions next to BURJ KHALIFA and possible roof top access for this view  http://www.flickr.com/photos/danielcheong/11310177174/  if anyone has any other great location for urbanscapes and city skyline of dubai please advise me.  also would love to meet photographers who base in dubai.  thanks.

I can't give much help on the junction but having visited Dubai without a proper camera (long, sad story), I feel duty bound to set expectations.  You have to live there, to get that kind of photo.  Even if you do live there, it's a once or twice in a lifetime shot :). Now, good views of the world's tallest building, that are perhaps a bit different, can be had from around the Radisson Blu. The hotel also has an outside bar, a few floors up, with vantage points to use a beer glass as a makeshift tripod.

The hop-on/hop-off Big Red Bus tour includes a night photography tour.
