It would be awesome if some enterprising Camera bag makers would build this into their bags, say the underside of the lid. You cold keep batteries, memory cards, remote releases, USB camera tether, etc.Since I'm going through the Christmas list building exercise, I remembered that my wife bought me one of these one year. It turned out to be the odd gift that turned into one of the most useful items you own. I use it to keep earbuds, HDMI and USB host adapters for my Samsung Note II, laptop mouse, night light, AA batteries, USB CF Card Reader, Charger and cable, etc. when I travel. I slide the board into my laptop backpack.
I highly recommend this item, though I would get blue, red or grey to give good contrast with all the black crap that you put on it. There is a thin zippered pocket on the back side.
