Got my lens (!!!!!!) and decided to have a quick whirl. Here's a couple images from today.

The last image (Sal's) is just a color test. Good god this thing passed with flying... colors. PUN.

I paid $1000 for the lens. I figured it's a first version, etc. It's an N. Unexpected to say the least.

Not a pro either so take my comment with a grain of salt!  The bottom right corner and to a lesser degree the top right corner of the picture bothers me more than the center.  Having the black void there makes the image feel incomplete/unbalanced to me.

This was a test image for me.  Since I'm shooting more with XF100 I'm finding I need focus stack more often.  I was curious how well it would handle this subject and it seemed to do quite well.

Your are right I'm sure, that's what happens when you grab the camera and don't really "arrange" the shot properly.

Hi Bernard,

It seems you have a lot of MPs and a lot of snow...

Best regards

P20 on 500c/m with newly acquired 60mm CF a beater cosmetically and a great quality in glass as expected, no one shoots a poor lens that heavily.

Can't afford the 30mm fish eye for the Hasselblad so I have to make do with what's available.
I find the 60mm CF to be just right for me as a walkaround lens, the 50mm too wide (and heavy) the 80mm too long so 60mm is the Goldilocks lens.
Handles the highlights well I think wide open.
