Keeping rating of original for versions
« on: November 25, 2014, 04:16:51 pm »

I like to look at images with a certain rating at the same time.

Then I make adjustments. Only, as soon as I create a version, it disappears, because it gets no rating.

I have to turn off filtering, find the copy... a cumbersome process.

Can I make the version keep the rating, so it stays in the selected group?

If you'll choose a "New variant" rating will disappear, but you can create a "Clone Variant" - it'll save all the adjustments and rating.  Then just reset adjustments for this image, rating will stay. Of course it's not the best way, but if you are working with keyboard shortcuts it'll take only few clicks.
