Author Topic: RAW file depict dramatically blown out highlights in ACR but not L/room ?  (Read 4029 times)

Can anyone explain why when I open a RAW file in Lightroom 5.7 the image does not show blown out highlights, however, when the same image is opened in CC it does ?

Your help is very much appreciated.

Your default color space in ACR is probably sRGB?

Slobodan probably has this correct.
I cant see any evidence that there prests applied in Lightroom.

I feel really stupid and I'm sure this will be the reason, however, there's no bar at the bottom of my ACR for me to make the adjustment. I've looked at three You Tube videos that all show the option at the bottom of the window but I don't have it ?

at the same height as the buttons 'save image' [on the left] and 'open image'etc on the right, there is something that looks like a link which gives you color space, bit depth etc..
I don't see any of these in your screenshots. If they are not chopped off in the screen shot, maybe the window ACR is in has in some way become to big. You can make it smaller by dragging from one of the corners. If you let the cursor hover there you'll see a double arrow. This BTW is in W7, details may be different
