First I will remind what is the second meaning of "snapshot" in the "Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English":"a piece of information that quickly gives you an idea of what a situation is like at a particular time".

Most people don't understand how much work goes into
Photography, or what great lengths photographers go to to get
Their images, the complete dedication and the amount of planning needed.

Some of them even stop and get out of the car!
