When blacks look blue?
« on: November 02, 2014, 09:20:16 pm »

I did a new paper profile with the x-rite i1 and the test patches looked nice and black.

However, the first print using the new profile with what had a solid black (RGB reads 0, 0, 0,) prints as a bluish black when viewed at an oblique angle.  Not a solid black at all like the test images.

Red River Glossy and don't know if this is an UVB issue or ink density issue.

What Jeff said, what does your nozzle check look like? You're sure you're not double managing, right? (Printer handles color set to off)    - Jim
