Looks like a red-tailed black cockatoo. We have some at the Toronto Zoo where I am a volunteer.

Thank you for sharing your photo of the Cockatoo as he munches on a seed. The yellow spots on his back show up particularly well in your capture.

Very nice shot, Jeremy.
I'm glad Lloyd could identify it as I've never seen one in my backyard. Very handsome bird.
