Sony/Zeiss and Mamiya medium format digital rangefinder

A new rumor has gone up. Very detailed. If this is to be believed, then something is clearly at least in the engineering stages, at best in production.

Notice another rumor of another MF camera alliance which seems pretty doubtful to me - but who knows?

New magnet-based lens attachment  :o

I hope they mean for a communication bus (instead of pins) and not a mount. Even more exciting if it's a mount and electro-magnet: you will notice when the battery goes flat.

a 50mp texas leica, now that would be super :) the mamiya ZD was also in many respects a very fine camera apart from the lousy performance at high iso though if i understand right that had a dalsa sensor, so partnering up with sony sounds like a good idea.
