Wedding in Moeraki
« on: October 24, 2014, 05:36:56 pm »

This wedding ceremony in Moeraki (NZ) was by far the most moving one I've ever attended. Not only that my younger daughter was the bride but the speech of the marriage registrar was exceptional. It was full of insight and wisdom of a worldly-wise maori women who has already nurtured 5 children and 17(!) grandchildren and who lives in harmony with the elements, her family, her community and her ancestors. You may believe that I was a little bit puzzled when I've got to know her at first but as longer she talked about the very nature of a family and its role in our word the more I've got impressed by her.

Congrats, Harlem22!
She looks as if she is seeing into the future, and the couple are listening with full attention and respect.
It must have been a wonderful event.
